GSM-R is a communications platform based on GSM which is currently being introduced as the European standard for railway communications. GSM-R integrates the voice and data applications for radio service on trains which have previously been running on various analog and digital systems to establish an international communications standard. This new platform is currently being introduced in several countries worldwide, among them Holland and Belgium.

MCS is being appointed by Triorail for de Value Added Distribution of the GSM-R product range. This professional module for GSM-Rail, the new radio system for railways, is reliable and has a  high performance. The TRM1 comes in a Terminal version and a module version. The products are based on the Siemens MC45e, which is familiar for MCS as we are also the distributor for this product in the Benelux area.
